I have to admit.

I am a football junkie.

Clarification, I am a college football junkie.

Saturdays during August to December are precious to me because there are typically 5+ college football games that are going on at the same time. To me, a pizza, a beer, and some pretzels are the ingredients for a great afternoon. When my favorite team is playing, give me the dang remote and let me be.

Fortunately for Emmy, they (SoCal TV stations) don't broadcast CU games on TV very often since priority is given to the LA schools. She understands that the few games that I do get to watch are ones that I plan my weekend schedules around, so she makes sure that those afternoons are activity-free. What a great wife!
